SHREYAS A SCHEME FOR HIGHER EDUCATION YOUTH FOR APPRENTICESHIP AND SKILLS
It is a scheme for students those who are studying normal degree courses in different universities in India.The shreyas scheme is intended to provide employability skills to the normal degree students like BA.B.Com and B.Sc.The students are passing their normal degrees without acquiring any competitive abilities.There is no employment guarantee.
For this Government is establishing shreyas scheme for higher education students and Government is going to give apprenticeship and skills.shreyas is a scheme planned for students who are studying degree courses and primarily non technical courses.
This programme introduces employable skills into their learning process.SHREYAS scheme promotes apprenticeship as integral to education.SHREYAS amalgamate employment facilitating efforts of the government in to the education.The SREYAS scheme clears the pathways towards the employment opportunities are available to the youth during anda and after their degree.
CONSTITUTION OF SHREYAS
There are three central ministries are involved in this SHREYAS scheme. Those are Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Ministry of Labour & Employment viz the National Apprenticeship Promotion scheme.They are introducing BA,B.Sc, B.Com professional courses in the higher educational institutions parallel to the normal degree courses.SHREYAS SCHEME OBJECTIVES
1 The shreyas scheme is to improve employability of the students.It introducesthe employment relevance in the learning process of the degree courses.
2.To give a close functional link between education and industry and service sector.
3.The shreyas scheme is to provide skills which are demand to the students.
