upsc Indian Forest Service IFS
Indian Forest Service is a crazy option for many candidates who wants to write Civil services.It is one of the best option for IAS and IPS aspirants in India.It gives a social recognition.Lacks of students wants to join IAS,IPS and IFS throughout the India.There is three stages to get IFS.Those are prelims,mains and interview.Every year UPSC release a notification.The candidates have to attend and qualify prelims first.The qualified candidates of in this prelims examination should attend mains.Finally there is an interview.To write civils the minimum qualification is any degree from any recognised university in India. But to write Indian Forest Service the candidates must have Animal Husbandry and veterinary science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology as one the subject in their degree. Agriculture,Forest,Engineering students also have chance to write Indian Forest Service IFS exam.The students who are studying final year of their degree can apply.But at the time of prelims result they could pass degree.
Age: 21 to 32 years.There is an age relaxation for SC,ST,PHC and OBC students.General students can write Indian Forest Service IFS exam 6 six times.OBC students can write this exam 9 nine times.For SC,ST,PHC students there is no limit to write this exam Indian Forest Service according to their reservation.

The prelims are same all civil services aspirants. Those who
wants to write IFS Indian Forest Service they have to choose IFS exam after
qualified in preliminary examination. They have separate exam for mains

a) Mode of Indian Forest Examination IFS Main Examination is ESSAY TYPE
b) There are six papers in the main examination
c) The duration of each paper is 3 hours
